This policy is a working draft requiring approval by the competent authority and legal counsel.
Data controller
The responsible administrative authority, its data protection officer and their contact details must be officially designated before launch.
Data processed
The portal processes contact, identity, passport, travel, accommodation, supporting documents, payment, decisions and security logs required for visa issuance.
Purposes and access
Data is used only to process applications, secure payments, issue travel documents, prevent fraud and produce anonymized statistics. Internal access follows least privilege.
Retention
The final retention period requires legal approval. An indicative period is configurable; deletion, legal hold and destruction evidence must be approved and integrated before production.
Your rights
Access, correction, objection and deletion procedures will be adapted to applicable Congolese law, without allowing deletion of legally required records.
